ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS
We have all heard of Botox, a hugely popular non-surgical anti-wrinkle treatment worldwide. It is a simple, effective way to smooth and soften lines and wrinkles to help you look fresher, more relaxed, giving a more youthful appearance. But it’s more than that; it’s about feeling confident and comfortable in your own skin.

Before
After
Botox (by Allergan) is a neurotoxin and brand name that is a market leader in Botulinum Toxin Type A. Bocouture (by Merz) and Azzalure (by Galderma) are alternative leading brands. All products are proven safe and FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved. Neurotoxins have been used for more than 50 years for medical conditions and cosmetic purposes.
If you’re considering having an anti-wrinkle injection treatment (Botox, Bocouture, Azzalure) for the first time, here’s a little more information to help you feel more confident in your decision.
How does the treatment work
Botulinum Toxin Type A is a prescription-only neurotoxin treatment that works by temporarily blocking specific nerve signals or impulses to the injected muscles, causing them to relax and preventing contraction/activity. This means that a non-moving muscle is unable to crease the skin, which results in a softer, smoother appearance. Over time and with ongoing treatment (recommended every 3-4 months), it reduces the probability of the skin becoming more wrinkled. In other words, it is also an effective wrinkle prevention treatment.

What to expect
Using ultra-fine, almost painless needles, we target specific facial muscle groups. Treatment is quick, effective and requires no downtime. Results are not instant but subtle and gradual, with the full effect within 2-3 weeks. Typically, you’ll enjoy the effects for at least 3-4 months (sometimes longer, depending on each individual).
Treatment Areas
Forehead lines, Frown lines (Glabella), Crow’s Feet, Brow lift, Bunny lines (nose), Gummy smile, Down-turned mouth, Mentalis (pebbled/dimpled chin), Bruxism - Masseter relaxation (Teeth grinding/Headaches), Auxiliary Hyperhydrosis (Excess sweating).
